right now my voice is so hoarse and raw... haha, think its cuz of the continuous laughing from like 6-12. hanging out with a few of my primary sch class mates really just cracking each other up - and the road trip we had in the end to cap it off, i really must talk abt tt later... lol. anw, its really amazing how we failed to catch up much, but just amused ourselves. thanks to michelle's amazing organization skills, the evening started off with us scattered all over orchard, with different pple headed in different directions. and... when we'd finally decided tt we'd head over the paragon - after almost an hour and a half, we stepped out to torrential rains as jerald put it, and a drizzle as michelle argued. so pam suggested we head for the nearest DIY store and get shovels and start mining our way to paragon from lucky plaza. and then, jerald said i should be flattened into a poncho... bah! so was it any wonder tt buy the time jane arrived, we were -still- looking for a place for food?! haha, we of course, explained we were waiting for her, and i'm pretty sure she was totally skeptical. hmmm... haha. so when we had decided on the pasta cafe for dinner, we sat, and jane, decided to have ginger tea only cuz she was on diet! and of course, cuz she's so ah ma... ;) but she started pinching all our food, SHAMELESSLY, tt of course, i'm sure she got all the calories she nvr meant to eat. but of course, her explanation, at least i'm not buying those calories! haha... whatever!

then camera whore, jerald, demostrated his talent at capturing shots of everyone at their most inopportune moments, esp weiyang and michelle... haha, i've gotta get those pictures! ;) then after a long while of checking out various couples smooshing, or whatever tt word was, we proceeded to check out the waitresses. hmmm, well really, we were only trying to get them to take a picture of us, not trying to flatter them tt much... ;)

after the meal which left us, v much hungry still - must be jane's fault (all tt food tt goes to feed tt tumour in the front of her body getting ever larger!), or perhaps, the aimless walking abt we did, so we left for Big O. jane tried making an O sign with her hands in front of her tummy, but weiyang reminded her - really, you didn't need yr arms.

after the gushing at the star shaped dunno what, and weiyang revealing he can't think and walk at the same time (no we know why he's always lost... :/), and how we had 14s to cross the road, but somehow only made it to the edge of the road!! then when we crossed the road, we couldn't even reach the end in 30s... lol. but we made it to big o in the end. 6 desserts arrived at our table. and we proceeded to rapidly devour them, barbarically. esp the waffle i ordered! it was torn to shreds. and of course, we were commenting on how we should film these down... but then, no one would cuz if we hesistated, no more would be left. weiyang concluded we weren't really gaining calories cuz we were eating so rapidly, we were burning all the fats away. haha... gluttons we were, and we plotted tt next time, we shall have enough pple so tt we can tell the waitress - can we have this page please? thank you. and pam of course decided tt we needed reallly long forks. hmmm.

yay, so after lotsa stupid lameeee jokes, later, there was no one left at the restaurant, and we went back to wisma to look for jane's box on wheels (which incidentally as i discovered later on as i was trying to escape from the car, tt e door doesn't open!). and after she decided to take the PIE so tt we could reach tampines faster, we soon found ourselves on the CTE to ang mo kio. our road trip had began. jane tried frantically to explain her way out of it... of course, we believed her... :) haha, then, soon, we were heading to bukit timah, then to WOODLANDS?! err... and we're all easterners, we dun venture north... :/ then, somehow, after a few more random turns, she, being damn tyco, ends up at orchard - i wanted to bring you all on a nice tour. haha, we really rejoiced so hard when we hit nicoll highway. lol... and then we went near weiyang's house, then mine - and michelle let out huge cheers each time as we were not let off the car.

halfway, being reminded of our alma mater, tao nan as we sorta passed it, - and reminded of our houses (shark, killer whale blah blah), (and bombs, and cheers), our pepsi cola 123!, and cool inventions like red alert zha! with chihou as the secret weapons... hahahaaaa... we just went berzerk, those were really the days man, they were so memorable. as pam put it, how could we've imagined tt we'd be in this position, going uk, us to study, (with me being e only one in sg... :(((((), yeah and meeting up and still being our cranky, weird selfs. really miss those carefree and happy days... TNS GEP were really great... still keep in contact with so many of them... 10 years. its been so long... :)

hello pple! haha.. these few days have just been fun fun fun!! :)

feels like christmas to me! ;) monday was ra's return and a trip all round to help him out with his various errands. but at the same time, it was great to catch up with him, and of course, play the games which i do not have at his place. its scary how many dvds he has... i think he needs some sorta catalogue, cuz i see multiple copies of the same things! :/

tues, went for pride and prejudice with aud, ian n weili... haha, aud had a nice surprise for weili - a badge tt said, i'm bitchy on all days ending with 'y'. then, another one, i'm a grumpy old fart. so aud got her desserts too when we were at tcc, after she discovered she had insufficient funds to pay for her soup, she resorted to asking weili for $$ when ian n i had not enough for her. and he glared, and raised a sign up. 'i'm a grumpy old fart'... too bad audrey... haha. ahh, and the movie was rather good... the acting was good, though at times i felt like i was watching a foreign film, cuz amidst the peals of constant giggles, from the girls in e movies, and the thick accent, it was hard to discern the conversation, and i had to resort to reading the chinese subtitles!! and overall, i think the book might have been a better medium for this story then the film simply cuz a lot of elements are better left to imagination then potrayed on screen. it was interesting how the director was tantilizing us ever so often tt they'd kiss, but ever so often, it doesn't happen, till finally they do, n e movie ends.

wed, tennis in the monring... tiring! but the weather was rather good... after tt, watch perhaps love... the movie was rather good i felt. love the way the film they were filming and the actors' real life have strong parallels... i do not know all the right terms for all the things i wanna say, cuz i forgot them after literature classes. but whatever, its a really good piece of work... :) the music was really touching as well, and it was nothing as dreary as some of the other movies i watched recently... haha. at nite, went clubbing with weili and zp... haha, met quite a few pple, and in e end, congregated in a circle with yx, chelsea and ty... was bloody crowded... getting shoved here and there, and girls and guys who just grind everywhere. i'm sure i'd have got abrasion if i stayed any longer. haha.. it was really funny to see weili try to pick girls for shy and demure (acting lor!) zp... haha. damn! i wish we could've got into phuture though... would've liked e music better... ;)

realised tt my blogging has sort become a weekly affair... ah well, taking a break from writing cards, which i endeavour to finish by tonight!

been really busy... all the hustling round has made me a lil low on energy... haha. holiday seasons... enjoyable but tiring!!

i've been watching tonnes of movies this week... the promise on thurs, and its really quite ridiculous, and plus, the special effects are pathetic for a 51million dollar film... really shocking...! haha. after watching tt, i went chinatown for dinner... and bah! got a tummyache from food there i suspect... grrr... :(

then on fri, went shopping w hs for xmas stuff... only bought like 1 present and hideous cards - which i thot were assorted, but turns out not! :( sorry to e pple who got them... but hopefully e content makes i for it? ;) lol... rite. then tennis at nite at colin's... played a close dubs match tt nvr finished... 5-7 7-6(5)... well, amazing given my recent discovery i suck at doubles!

alrite... sat was tennis again... think its been too much tennis, tt's probably why my lil finger is hurting v badly now... :( think some tendon is v tender now!! then came the movie disaster... :/ wanted to watch kingkong, and thot i'd go axs to buy seats - 1st row. bah, dun want... then checked 8pm, hmmm, 3rd row... not bad. but friends dun want. so we went off... then changed our mind, and went back to the machine - second row... ok la, whatever... but somehow, by e time we printed the ticket, we were relagated to 1st row! 3hours of neck straining... so shitty... lol. hmmm, i think the movie was actually quite good la, but seriously, the first hour was unnecessarily draggy and surely, i could feel my neck protesting... but as the pace picked up, and we finally saw kingkong, all was well... haha.

sunday was an outing w nick n wp... ate at ding tai feng! missed the xiao long bao there... surely its e best in town... e only one tt e skin can be pinched here there and everywhere without breaking... retaining all e juicy stuff inside! yummy! :) yeah, then did xmas shopping... we like walked thru practically e whole orchard for sure. but it was a fruitful session indeed... bought presents for my family and quite a few friends... yeah... but think i dispensed most of them already and still have many many left... :( aiya.. never ending list of pple to buy stuff for! so sad... haha.

well, it was really really crowded cuz of all the relatives and soo many of his friends there as well - uni, jc, sec, pri, and us, the tennis kahki's as he so called us when we went to take photos. haha... oh, cuz at the end of the whole thing, there was a photo taking session with the bday boy and the cake, before the cake was uncerimoniously dismantled. yeah, there was karaoke, but dominated mainly by his booty shaking sister, who was damn cute! haha... the food was nice too... and colin, al and me were playing tabletennis in the next room - and i really suck at table tennis. arghh! :( haha. i have a tendency to try to smack the ball at pple's faces... :/ and wherever else but the table. dumb!

yup, anw, monday was like sorta a family day... went out for lunch and went shopping and stuff... haha, its been forever since we ever did it on a week day when the malls are less crowded... such a nice and refreshing change! :)

today, was a superrrr ( i tried dragging the p, but then it looked like supper!) tiring day... :/ my gosh, slp deprived me arrived in changi rise to play tennis early in the morning - by public transport! first time in ages i took bus anywhere so early... and i paid the price. i played like slp in my slumber. bah! or.. maybe i just suck in doubles, not an impossible postulation. well, i was hitting fine during any of the given warmup, but once i'm in a match, i seem to lose track of the court. i dunno, always happens in doubles, or when warming up with 3 others. i think, i need more space... haha. so after many loses, and some more, i left... for school to play squash. crazy i know. haha. first time i've seen aud, ian, ks and marc in ages. i think i picked up the game pretty fast... was damn fun! and marc picks the game up damn fast too... was the most challenging playing him cuz he's fast! was just so so shagged, and starving after all tt exercise! haha. so after showering - which disgusting aud decided not to... we went to orchard for dinner. ate at seoul garden... clumsy audrey destroyed the wok thingie. the black stuff were the vermicilli she dropped! all charred and yucky. so if anyone looking for a wife who can cook, dun look at her. she'd spoil all yr woks... :/

we were really adventuorous with the food - ian with his yam icecream, atap seed, and nata de coco and dunno what else, topped generously with condensed milk! haha... me with the grass jelly, and just abt every other type of jelly, and nata de coco... and audrey with her fried sotong balls, and boiled black pepper beef... :/ ewww... and after an experiment, ice jelly melts on the wok, nata de coco and atap seeds look similar after a while, though the seed jumps! and the thing, termed sperm ball by the rawwrr audrey, is apparently the most resilient, and she thinks tt's how they can fertilize females. i hope they dun survive her disgestive tract and make her pregnant... :/

after lunch, met lotsa pple, including guandong, who noticed my stench - the seoul garden smell. boo. which led audrey to body shop to spray stuff on herself, and i, being overzealous, landed some in her mouth. didn't quite taste as nice as it smells? heh.

and my phone! i made it black recently... and damn it. i dropped it while on the escalator... dumb la. it took such a dramatic tumble. half a flight of escalator... and what could i do... watch it tumble... down and down... well, nice person helped me pick it up? no cosmetic damage... but it better be functioning well... :( clumsiness... think i've wrote enough now... shall get back to LOST. :)

hmmm, dunno why, but i've just not been in the mood to write anything... but well, i feel like posting a few pix... ;)

seeing everyone's parents so proud of their children, and the delightful cheers and hugs then went all round, knowing all the hardship they've gone thru to achieve what they did - i felt touched, and most certainly, i'd respect them. congrats to all of you...

ok, as for the rest of the week, 3 days was consumed by FRS... but my grp won 100!! woohoo! who'd have thot tt the cringe worthy QNA, where we got grilled and fried and just eaten alive would've ended up w us getting a prize?! haha... bryan was quite hilarious though during the presentation... and our topic was in itself, so intriguing... ;) does papaya increase breast size? all the strategically placed pictures and videos must have helped in inducing much laughter... ;) well - our conclusion - probably not. so no need to consume more papayas... ;)

and yes! meeting up with 3M friends. aaron, hs, yx, claire, wp and me of course. after a huge round abt, and initial confusion, we settled down for a super long drawn dinner... at which we yakked till the closing of the restaurant. after tt, i wanted to go with them to harry's for a drink - but since i can't really drink, and i had to wake up early for sch, i didn't... but, talking to everyone sorta made me realize tt all of us are gonna go down v different pathways in life. will be really interesting to meet up, say 10-15years time, and see how each of us are and what we're all doing then. i've a feeling we'll still be as silly and funny loving as ever though... ;)

and, i've finally managed to find a way to make my Civ 4 cd work! yay. been so captivated by it... playing into the wee hours of the morning... its damn damn fun... each game takes soo many hours, but i'm not bored, rather, am v addicted... :) go get it whoever!! u really must play it.

otherwise, my week can be summed up with - tennis, orchard, cityhall area... haha. nothing much really... just many money wasting ploys indeed. gotta start saving for xmas shopping.

oh btw... exams are over... yay! ;) haha... its kinda hols now... except tt we've this most useless thing called FSR - foundation research skills taking up a few days of our hols... :( oh bah!!

anw, so... these few days, i've mostly been catching up with my slp - not sucessfully though, and just having fun! :) let's see now... fri... i went out in the afternoon and spent a lot... :/ this seems to be a growing trend... bought presents for pple's bday (i dun like nov and dec, many bday presents, plus xmas ones too!)... as well as a bag for myself. oh, i hate it when i spend a lot! :(

alright... then in the evening, i lugged my xbox over to nick's chalet! haha... its become such an annual affair now.. i've not missed it since i was primary 5! quite a looong time, and many many chalets as well... ;) it was still, 8-ish, and by 9 weili had arrived on his bike. he dared to cycle thru e dark lanes of the newly constructed pathway from east coast to safra... :X after he arrived, we proceeded to a massive xbox session! project gotham racing and halo... damn fun to play with yr friends instead of the usual, against the com... :) surprisingly, e lil ones didn't really bother us, they just watched by the side... the next morning, the weather was nice, and we decided to go cycling... except tt we met with a lil debacle. the stupid bike rental pple at safra claimed tt the bikes were gonna be on maintanence... but nick's mum, being ever persistent and stern, called the duty manager and scolded them... well, it was true tt it was a saturday, and tt it was impossible tt they couldn't even spare 2 bikes... so in the end, we got them! the bikes were not v good, and had no bell... but it just feels great to be out in the sun, with a light breeze in yr face as u cycle along the beach... especially since it was early and hardly anyone was around to obstruct... ;) we stopped at the lagoon area for a nice coconut water drink... yummy and refreshing...

after returning, we had lunch and bummed, giving in to our after lunch slugginish-ness.. well, there was still e xbox to entertain! after which, when we were sufficiently tired, they wanted to slp... but the sun was nice... so off we went to the poolside to lay on the deckchairs... haha. the plan was to rest and read, and maybe swim... but i ended i slping, and then in e jacuzzi... lazy way to pass an afternoon...

after we returned, matthew came! he was funny as ever, and we just talked and caught up... then went off to play bball for a while, and back we came to a nice bbq... the food was really really good... the marination and spread was just fab. felt really satiated, especially by the chicken and the crab... and zp came too... finally. without enough money, so i had to bail him from the cab... lol. matthew had one too many beers - or rather, he had a beer b4 his meal to qunech his thirst. bad mistake, he was a lil high and went crank-ish. haha... we just sat and chatted over dinner... abt some pretty interesting and sensitive stuff. i maintain tt i'd never have chosen to go into OCS even if i had another chance. i wun have liked it the least bit.. ah well. after which, we played cards, then 2v2 halo till it was time to go bowl and weili departed cuz he had to rest for this 21km half marathon... wow, i could nvr run tt... :X but yeah, bowling! it was just silly on my part... i was just playing like crap... and zp, concluded i wasn't aiming. he would repeatedly catch my balls just as i was abt to let them loose... quite hilarious. haha, times like this, i wish we'd be able to stay in such happiness forever and not grow up... i hope there'd still be times to share and remember as we grow... it was really late by the time we returned... and no ktv for matt cuz it was closed! and then, we bummed round watching a lil bit of soccer, till zp decided we should play polar bear with the lil kids! well, it was... interesting. firstly, the lil kids, some are larger than us in size, and they are actually 15, so tt's fine... but there are some sub 10 or thereabts... ah... those. A:"i saw X cheating! yr eyes were open" ZP:"How did u know tt his eyes were open unless u cheated and opened yrs too?!" ermm... B: "I didn't get to see the polarbear!" Nick: "I didn't tap yr head! you are not the guru" hmmm... and many more of such things... gosh... it was just damn funny, and at the same time exasperating... anw, it was really interesting cuz u can tell who can act and be scheming and who can't... nick can't do it to save his ass. everytime he was polar bear, he'd be voted out soon after cuz he just can't seem to contain tt fact within his brain... haha. and his mum who was watching, provided me much entertainment with her interesting expressions as she observed the whole situtation... i made a good polar bear! killed off everyone... it was the only time polar bears won... ;)

well, a few round... we just ended up talking again... the 4 of us... till abt 4, and we went to bed, with matthew going back... so tt concluded a nice long weekend... :)

i was left too tired though, tennis later on sunday afternoon wasn't quite tt gd... was still half aslp... :X

oh, did u know there's a lizard tt constantly crawls outside the window near the dining area in my house? it never fails to appear at 8pm or there abouts... haha. it used to be this huge lizard, but now, its a tiny one, but its growing! :) i think tt its the kid of the huge one... haha

bah... damn a lot of things has happened since i blogged... i've just been too lazy to write anything, what with the exams and just wanting to slack ard... no motivation.

first, some nicer stuff before i bitch... ;) hmmm, last last sat was a bday day! in the morning and after, we celebrated ryan's bday with a klunch... the food was yucky as usual... but well, tt's not why u go for klunch anw.. ;) but the worse thing was, the service was horrible too... there was a guy with a super black face all the time, and pple who wouldn't serve us till we called for their service. baaaddd! so after we had a jolly good time singing away, while we had to leave, clumsy clumsy we spilt my sauce for the chicken! and ryan was even more clumsy, spilling his food... oh dear. but we left anyway for some drinks at fuzion... but not b4 we took advantage of ryan's nike B.I.R.D. card... yeah... 25% off for bday boy... and friend of course... spent 100 over bucks there, but reduced to 87 after the discount of course... would've bought more if not for the 500 buck quota... how silly is tt? i mean, stop pple from spending? actually, in the end we did spend more than 500... but, thing is, the cashier was forgetful, and didn't charge one item, a jacket. so when we went back to ask for it... they gave us the discount anyway... a good lost huh? ;)

yes... then later in the day, after chilling at fuzion, with all the nice drinks... we headed over to chimjes for dinner... for shishi's bday dinner... it was at canivores... which i helped to book and choose... ;) but he treated of course... haha. it was quite an interesting experience... the chefs walking around with succulent meat, dripping in meat juices, and piping hot... yummy!! i took some pix of the humerous and poser chef... haha... shall post it one day when i'm more free... ;) yes, after a damn loooong and yummy dinner, we went bowling! arghh... i tell u... i was such a huge choker! in all the games we played, i was playing damn well at the start, like having 1 open frame in the first 6... then i proceeded to throw a few into the gutter... its so smart. goosh... *rolleyes* no, it happened a second time too... arghh... its so silly, i had nothing to say... :X bah...

tt sunday was an outing with nick and chi... after tennis with cm and yuan... see how i spend my weekends... i'd so know why i do badly when i get my results back... :/ aiya... but how can u resist fun when it comes to yr doorstep, or in this case, yr phone... ;)

monday i had my first driving lesson. my instructor passed me over to some weird replacement cuz he was ill... and this guy started the lesson off so weirdly! i couldn't understand what he was saying at all, and after 5mins of talking in some weird foreign-like lingo... i got in the drivers seat and drove. haha! well, i had a shock initially... the car is so nice to drive!!! everything is smooth and sensitive, the steering is good... its perfect. haha, all my fellow signals friends who went on driving course... u're gonna love this man... ;) the rear view mirror is actually of use did i mention? and u're not looking at the road from ten feet above... plus the vehicle can't stall... haha! well it can, but, we wun stall it for sure... ;) but anw, the instructor crazily made me do right turns, and drive thru tiny roads with cars all over the place, so i had to squeeze thru tiny gaps, and shocked me somemore by trying to poach me while i was driving. lol... i left totally amused. not too fun it was... just hope i get over and done w soon... :P can't wait man!

tues - i didn't go to sch. was soso lazy... :X my pbl grp decided to sabo me cuz i was the leader and didn't turn up... now i've lotsa research to do! wanted to play tennis in the morning, but it rained - so actually, i could've gone to sch. but well, i did play in the evening, so i was pleased. looking at the sun and all, its so nice... i wish i could just spend more time outdoors... it'd be great. i love where i stay... the breeze, the landscaping... everything is great. makes me feel happy when i'm walking home or just walking around downstairs... :)

wed... slack day again, but prof raj was on a roll during lecture. made me laugh soo much.. and had some fun! managed to watch harry potter... :) i think it was much better than prisoner of azkaban... must be the change in director. it was much more fast paced, and the scenes were of far more use. however, ian wanted it to be 4+ hours long so every lil bit of the book can be portrayed. was fun just walking round and talking in orchard b4 the movie... we talked a lot of nonsensed... and used aud's phone to prank msg many pple and getting... really amusing replies... ;) also met kahyat and grace on the bus! haha, its been a while. they look good together... it felt gd to catch up... and find out new things of course... ;)

oh but sth silly happened... my phone ran out of batt along the way home. bah. then, i realised i didn't take my keys out. and then.... no one was home. shit, i waited outside the house for like 40mins? took a long walk downstairs... luckily it was windy and wasn't raining... so it was nice weather once again. but sighs, what are chances of this happening? :(

today, i headed down to the wards for PDP... supposed to learn abt interview skills and all. i felt our prof was kinda cold towards us, but nicer to the patients... well, i guess its more impt to be nice to the patients. but still... patients have generally different reactions to seeing a huge bunch of students crowding round and talking to them. some get scared, some are chatty and happy... and others seem to take it all v normally... :) haha. well, some pple felt they didn't learn anything from this trip and tt they'd rather be studying... but i thot it was quite a gd thing tt we were there. it really helps us to understand how we go abt making a diagnosis and to communicate with the patient. in the end, we need to have the knowledge, but it is really the application of the knowledge tt is more impt...

b4 PDP, was trying to tie my tie... and it was just ludricous. either too short, too long, or just.. not rite... :( then, i had to call in a patient, so i opened the door and shouted towards the chairs. then this lady sitting underneath me next to the door looked up and said, tt's me. quite dumb. then these M5s came in too... they were preparing for their final exam. they seem quite desensitized in certain respects, and quite proficient as well in any case. then, i was outside and i suddenly commented they didn't look so haggard. and lo and behold, the door had opened moments ago, and the M5 was there. he turned ard and shot me a look... and i was like... ok, oops. the other pple were like... u didn't see him? i might have, but i dunno, didn't register?! :(

i really, dun quite remember what has happened last week... :/ must've been rather uneventful... just know i was buried with work cuz had tuts and all the other stuff... :(

oh, took my FTT on tues, and i passed! haha, they asked weird qns abt insurance and points and all... which, i guessed, so i was lucky to pass.. :P was annoyed this older woman finished faster than me! :X thurs, i went out to walk walk! haha... bought an adidas shirt, which, i realised, after wearing it on court, isn't really all tt comfy. bah! its collar is irritating me! :/ so distracting... saw so many nice things to buy... if only i had money! :P aiya, darn!

played tennis on fri evening... was quite annoyed with some one. yeah, tt translated to venting on the tennis balls which really just flew everywhere. it was hilarious...! haha. and i did something to my hair, and i can't say i quite like it... its really the woman's fault... she refused to listen to what i had in mind. so yes, i wasn't pleased with her. i know my head better...

today, was at GUESS, and guess what? i was standing there waiting for the cashier, and this woman came up to me and enquired abt the clothes. i was... rather amused by her. i however, do not think i look like a salesperson... haha... ;)

and i watched the most shocking show ever... it was MTV sweet 16. this girl on the show, jazmin... was a total brat. she was just amazingly spoilt. i saw her getting a car, some BMW convertible, and the dad said, its too gd a car for u... and mind u, she just failed her driving test. and she said to camera, i deserve it! then her party was at some club, which her parents booked. and she had a VIP limo... *rolleyes*. and she flew to NYC to get a dress, taking her friend, brittney along. and her friend tried on clothes as well, and jazmin got angry and felt she was being drama cuz she couldn't afford those clothes. so she threw a bitch fit, and said, i wun try any clothes she has tried on and stomped out. gosh! then, at their house, she, and the other VIP girls were choosing hunks for security at the party. making them take off their tops etc. then brittney brought some friends along, and jazmin got pissed saying, the limelight's on me. i wun let her try to start some drama. so off brittney goes. and soon after, she was taken off the exclusive VIP list for only 10 out of the 400 pple invited. eh... i wonder how much the party costs... :/ blah blah, then the day came. and there are stylists for all the VIPs... and blah blah. she's so money wasting. ok, she was so mean to brittney, bitching to everyone abt her. and at the end of the show, she even said, 'this party costs more than my parent's wedding. but i think i deserve it. i'm a princess...' eh... u're like so :X... ugghh..

haha, being a lazy ass lying in my bed now... so comfy! i love my house... can never imagine having to stay in hall or anything... :P

anw, was playing tennis just now, and in my way back, took a longer route home. walked pass the pool, it looks so nice at nite... under the dim lights, the water glisten nicely, and the sound it makes is sooo soothing... :) the sky was clear and cloudless for once, and the moon shone so brightly even though its only a lunaris... and the stars were clear too! :) the gently breeze made my walk home really enjoyable... lovely nite. if only i were done there typing my blog instead... :)

anws, the last week had been rather hectic, so i didn't write much. sadly... haha. lets see now... on tues, i met up with some of my JC classmates... ok, we had lunch at fish and co, and as usual, they probably forgot abt my food, and it took ages to come, like after everyone elses despite me ordering the same thing as mich and aaron. ha. oh! its been so long since i saw aaron... hi aaron! lol. anw, it was fun to joke and talk again, like last time... miss the happy times tt we would just head down to orchard after sch, or go ghim moh or hv... ah, those were the carefree jc days, where there wasn't stuff to mug, and i felt less stressed out by my peers. hmm.

us at fish n co. (mag didn't turn up cuz she forgot after i reminded her 3 times and she said i know! and she thot it was thurs. joker! :/)

after lunch, we spent our time galavanting aimless. we wanted to watch movie, but the movies either sucked, or some pple had already watched them b4.

so painstakingly crawled under the heat, to paragon to bakerzinn! haha. the new concept of 'toras' was refreshing, but at the sametime, kinda cheating money? its so small... for the price of what used to be so much huger. oh wells... at least it comes with variety. it was quite yummy, all the different desserts, and i guess, in a way, if they came in the uber large sizes, it could get too sweet and icky. yeah, then me and hs left, walking ard a bit b4 heading off... went to all the nice guess and CK boutiques, oohing and ahhing.. but hs is probably rite... if we work next times, these things wun seem so ex anymore... :)

wed... i dun remember sch at all! ah, but what the heck... who cares... ;) nite was dinner with nick and zp and weili! haha... zp finally returned home from taiwan... well, he looked rather the same, except as weili pointed out, he had less than half the hair tt weili had. lol... too bad... so it rained, and we did something rather... not classy, which i think shall be left as tt. can't damage our rep la! haha... dinner was at renn thai, where after we entered, we asked the waiter if they had this 1 for 1 offer for UOB card members. he said yes. so we were satisfied and ordered a lot. then turns out... the manager said we didn't cuz its an eve of a public hol. so weili had a talk w him... and well, we got the offer. but tt bugger! he made me sign so many things, and apparently didn't give me off for a dish. ha... pest! went home cuz i wanted an early nite instead of going clubbing...

thurs! had tennis... its such an excellent sport... :) watched sky high, which was totally funny, and... went down to the flagship apple store after tt. it was the opening day and i really didn't see the point of apple moving like 20m down the aisle. oh well, when u make tt much money, i guess nothing has to make sense. haha.. it was packed! and there were nice offers, such as trading in of ipods, as well as a $30 voucher after buying ipod bid. naturally, i took up e offer, playing $200 in the end for it. well, my dad actually paid 300 cuz he wanted my ipod... *embarrassed* the thing is soo pretty! i love it. so thin, like so so thin, its almost nano-ish. and its better cuz it has vids! haha... more value for money... :P

fri was more evening tennis... the weather has been good to us. thank u! :) it was so amusing cuz cm and i were just being total clowns, laughing at everything, and seeing who made more ugly shots in our doubles match against col and kat. in the end, we managed to lose cuz we weren't serious enough... but even so, v close, so its ok. me and col then beat cm and kat after tt... i decided to be more serious... ;)

sat... yuan came over to visit! its been a while... hadn't seen him in ages cuz he was in taiwan too! lol. and he bought me this most hilarious gift. its 2 lil piggies, with a string thingie in between both snouts. when u pull then apart, they sorta wind up, then when u release, they move towards each other, then finally, their snouts will touch each other, and so they kiss. goodness... :X oh yeah, the weather wasn't gd, so tennis w e others was cancalled, and cm yuan and me spent most of time talking nonsense and watching videos... haha. then we played a while, and they had to go. saw my sis off at the airport... she's going 2wks in nz! so jealous! grr... haha. went for seafood dinner! (its been a while)... had chilli crab and sambal kakong! (yums!)

haha... helluva weekend i had! total fun, and more fun. shit... wish i could have more of such weekends... :)

but, let's start with fri. fri was tennis and more tennis! after sch, which ended quite quickly... went with youjiang (which hence forth will be called yj) to play tennis. under the surprisingly hot sun, we played. it was shocking cuz it had been raining ever so often during afternoons! :/ yup... soon we were joined by dedrick and ks... and since i was using my old racket, i was having some problems with consistency... :/ pity i had to leave early to get home cuz cm was coming over. we watched some vids, talked nonsense... and soon we headed down for tennis after the rain stopped, just on time... :) what luck! :)) we played, and had a nervous match, which concluded 6-4 4-6... it was aurdous! it was quite gd initially, but as we got tired, it became more and more crappy... ;) but i did have lotsa fun... haha

k, sat! woke up really late in e day... then went down to meet mark and nick for a movie. it was doom. it was so reminiscent of resident evil. but, the plot was not as gd, and resident evil hardly had any. but i found it quite thrilling still, and the part where it played like e game, was cool and refreshing... :) after tt, had dinner at carl's junior. geez! the burgers are huge. and given my pre-existing condition of limited jaw activity (hurting realll bad), i had trouble distending my jaw to accomodate tt hugemongueous burger! (haha, see, e length of tt word makes u think e burger is v huge rite?) ;) played pool -again- after tt. arghh... totally suck now. i can't aim nowadays! aiya, was quite disgusting cuz i was just missing so much... bah!

after tt, i went home and changed and went clubbing. heh, it was v fun! was some sorta halloween thingie... and there were, all sorts of costumes. i dunno why there's halloween stuff so early, but it was quite fun watching. haha... safe to say, those pple with their bulky costumes, didn't really dance. i danced and danced till my legs were sore... gosh! so tired... from 12-4... but yeah la, with breaks... yes. but it was really so enjoyable... u guys were great!! love it when there are enthu pple who would drag u to e dance floor... so u'll feel like dancing even if u r tired! thnx so much for e fun... and its great to have so many easterners, so going home is easy! :) reached home at like 5... and had to wake up at 9+ e nice day for tennis!! got many nice pix of us clubbing! but i'm lazy to post la... maybe next time... haha! :)

gosh... was soo groggy in e morning, framing shots everywhere and stuff. aiyo! terrible... :/ played dubs which me n ryan won, barely, like 7-6(0) against col n wilson... the sun was terrible, just soo hot. gosh, the weather is so xtreme. either so hot, or raining. hmmm, it hasn't rained in 2 days! so puzzling... haha. after tt, had lunch at ajisen at tm (tampines mall)... chatted and chatted for so long. then went coffee bean to slack even more. haha... amazing how much one can talk rite? yes, but its all in e company of pple tt can talk to each other though...

just finished 2 episodes of sex and the city... its really nice now... its less abt e sex now... lol. and well, its nice to see what happens to the characters... :) anw, i've not been doing quite enough work these few days... maybe i'm just too tired and i can't keep my concentration... :/ oh wells.

sch's actually been rather short these few days... so tt's great! :) and the weekends coming, so i'm in a good mood... :P today, we had this simulation thing at NUH... and i felt it was great! so amusing to see tt lil robotic patient say hi to u, blink and do all sortsa silly lil things...

today, marc, weili, ian and me went bukit timah plaza to play pool. wth, i think i've deproved so much, its just play embarrassing. everything is off by some bits, and so its just disaster in e making. and as marc noted, i had terrible luck... or maybe just terribly bad skills... ;)

after tt, went bukit timah, eh, some kinda food center thingie. well, i had no choice but to get congee cuz for some bizzare reason, the whole right side of my jaw is hurting so bad, i can barely move it much, except for talking. arghhh... i think it started when i yawned alot... it sorta stretched, maybe overstretched? i dunno, but the pain is spreading, and i've a feeling its getting swollen. boohoo.

boohoo! it poured like mad just now... :( i stepped into heeren, deciding to use e toilet and look at some CDs... and wham, it just rained. so i ran a short 10m to e bus stop... and i just so happened to be wearing clima-cool shoes and socks! yay... e bottom has lil airvents to cool my feet. naturally, water went thru those vents soaking my feet. and they sure froze in e bus... :( bah! luckily, by e time i reached home, e rain had almost stopped.. well, its actually v nice, this rainy weather. the scenery looks so different, e usual familiar routes. the water sorta shrouds everything, and its nice to see cars zooming thru e semiflooded roads and splashing water around. esp when it goes so high!

sadly for those friends in army, i dun think u'd really appreciate e rain. i sympathise w u guys... :( must suck to be outfield in e rain. i must say, i'm kinda lucky... never had bad weather during outfield or field camp or exercises... really lucky.

anw, on e bus i realise i think abt lotsa things - v useless things... :/ but i think i shall keep it to myself... haha. oh, and i realise tt i always take e same buses... 48, 36, 196... oh, and 95 of course! and somehow, 36 likes to come in lil grps. in pairs! well, so it serves as a doubledecker bus?? it once came 4 at once... oh well.

in orchard today with iantankaizhi, i was planning to look at e new ipod video launched last week end! and after looking round e shop, i realised it wasn't there. e person said its sold out. already. apple is sooo smart. they know how to keep their sales up. e CEO of apple recently said after releasing e ipod nano tt there were no plans to release anything video like. so naturally, e nano being so gorgeous, sold tonnes. i was already getting suspicious when i updated my itunes, and suddenly, it had a video function... then, bam! suddenly this ipod video comes out. let me elaborate on why its so good...

e ipod photo was 30gb, costs 548. the ipod video costs 548, and is 30gb too. its is 40% less volume, and its screen is larger. batt life is up from 14-20. it plays vids. dun u freaking feel cheated?! i do.. esp when i bought e ipod photo when it first came out in its 40gb version, only to have e price for a 60gb version to come out, cheaper! wth. apple is so good at this. but what to do? e stuff look so good and all, u just feel like buying it. sighs...

anw, here's my to buy list:

2 ipod video (sheessh, gotta save up!!)

anw, wed-sunday... interesting happens...

wed, played tennis with youjiang, ks and lisa! haha... it was quite fun. we were just camping in e library waiting for e annoyingly light (but sufficiently heavy to deter us from playing) drizzle, to rain itself out. after a rather long wait, it finally did! but e courts were kinda wet, and i made youjang slip and hurt his butt... :/ oops. well, at least nothing serious resulted.

thurs, was just a long and deary day, what with e extra tutorial which i didn't really understand cuz i hadn't done or read thru it... bah.

fri! was so happy tt e weekend was here... :) went w my PBL grp to SGH. hmmm, first time i had lunch with them as a grp... ;) i drew lotsa varied comments with my formal wear. there was e, u look like a salesman, then there's e, u like anything but a doctor. then theres e, why are u so dressed up?! and of course, e, nice ones like, hey, u look gd... :) the shuttle bus service we had to take to SGH was just so pathetic!! i mean, wth, pple have to wait a few trips just to get on it?! what abt those poor suffering patients? :/ i dunno... :( oh wells. we got told off by this ah pek cuz we didn't seem to be lining up properly... eh, whatever. e hospital had a really interesting thing... e system tt delivers the documents! haha. it apparently can switch tracks, go up several storeys... and yeah, its really fascinating... ;) so we went to the cardiac wards, and everyone seems to be peacefully slping. alvin stood near a door, and suddenly, 2 doors opened. we were kinda stunned! hmmm... he swears he did nothing. aha...

the doctor who took us was rather young, but he was married and all. but some pple in e grp were commenting on his pimples and eyebags - signs of haggardness and things we'd experience a few years down e road... :( oh well... and then of course, he was quite desensitized... things like, after he removed e socks of a patient to check for oedema, and realising she didn't have any... so he said, unfortunately, her oedema has gone down... haha! fortunately for u, e patient doesn't understand english... ;)

well, all in all, i felt tt e wards, is not bad a place to be in. u get to interact with the patients, and try to help them. i guess tt's why i'm here... i really wanted a job tt would give me e chance for interactivity and more applied stuff as opposed to research... :)

after tt, met kat and gary for dinner... haha, kat was really nice... bought me sunflower to cheer me up cuz i was complaining of my gloominess... well, i took a pix of it, cuz all my previous attempts at preserving flowers have NEVER turned out rite... :(

sat... had e usual tennis session with many many hiccups, for which i apologize for... :/ but still had fun as usual... oh, and my dad has been buying really yummy food from ard e streets. cheap too! :) there was this chicken wings fried in shrimp paste, so e crust was so much more flavoured... then this char kway tiao stall tt fries their stuff in those special leaf thingies (k, i bet u're lost, but i really dunno how to describe it)... and it was really gd... and nearby, so i can have lotsa it now... hurhurhur... :) then there are other stuff, which i've had b4, but are nice anw... :P was quite upset cuz my PS2 was spoilt! arghh... and i was trying to play dota too, but cuz of my screwy internet, i got so frustrated i went to play xbox instead... haha. :P can't wait for e xbox 360 to come out... it looks so chio man! :)

well, today... went KTV in e morning. my voice can't make it... stupid singers like jay chou, tao ze, wang li hong and wilbur, all have voices tt allow them to sing so effortlessly. i just croak ard trying to even match half of what they can sing. boohoo... :'( but e new kbox at marina sq is quite nicely decorated! it reminds me of e one in genting... :) also went to chocz at esplande today... ate these things... totally yummy, and absolutely - not cheap. haha.

been playing a lot of tennis... part of my greater scheme to get myself in shape... but am still severely lacking in fitness... gotta run more... but well, as usual, i never have e discipline... :( tennis has been up and down, sometimes gd, sometimes rather bad! :x haha... today was a bad forehand, but gd backhand day... arghh.. its so hard to achieve any decent form of consistency.

anw, on sunday, i finally managed to step foot into 点小二 (dian xiao er)... its this restaurant tt has a perpetually long queue outside. i always found it difficult to peek at e menu, so for fear of having to wash dishes after a meal, i decided tt i'd have a family lunch there instead... haha... ;) well, after a long wait, we got seated in the rustic looking restaurant. well, e decor fits e theme, the wooden planks and heavy stones, and straw (?) or is it hay (??!) like stuff, haha... and the cute gong tt sounds everytime food is churned out from e busy lil kitchen. even the waiters are dressed in some uncomfy looking costume made of some sort of ancient looking coarse cloth (can't remember what its called, hence e roundabt awkward description).

the ten spices herbal roast duck was superb! yummy... i totally loved tt... and so was the crispy beancurd... :) the mongolian spareribs were quite unique too... somewhat crunchy, but juicy and having a lovely flavour abt it. the other stuff we had weren't like v special... but quite ok la... :) after tt, did some grocery shopping. i shall not elaborate futher on the obscence amt of junk food i stocked up... :X haha...

alrite, today... after 4 horrendously slow lectures... ackk... i went down to TTSH to meet my mentor. on my way there, met my pri sch friend, and we chatted a lil... he still hasn't moved house! haha... anw, my mentor was really big shot. he's a MBBS, M.Med, FRACS, FRCSE, FACG. FAMS, PPA (E), PPA (P), Justice of Peace, Department of Gerenal Surgery, TTSH Director of Clinical Training, TTSH Associate Dean... blah blah... i dun even know what half of those things i typed were... simply... he's quite somebody. he had pple buy us lunch which we consumed in his office. and we just talked for an hour. it was really interesting, as he was telling us abt what we should expect, as well as the human aspect of medicine which we mustn't neglect. he really had trouble remembering my name, and it was quite a fiasco... ;) but nvm... he's really a nice guy, and well, he asked me n e other 2 pple in my grp when our bdays are, and it so happened tt ours were all within a month of each other. so he happily chirped in tt his was on 30th Feb. lol... if only we could've more lecturers like tt... ;)

oh on our way there, we walked thru a lil courtyard, for docs only or sth... its really nice. got gym, and childcare center, lounge... i can only imagine e childcare center... the kids will be, mine dad's a cardiac surgeon. oh, mine is a oncologists... after tt, i took a walk round e place, and i must say, its not like i'd have thot it'd be... the place isn't quite so gloomy... maybe its e color scheme working its intended effect? i dunno... :)

i think i've a theory... when i dun actively try to control my spending... i tend to overspend.. :( i spent all my pocket this week, plus what was left in my wallet from e previous week! :/ bought too many things this week... ate too much nice food... really gotta stop myself... :x

anyway... i watched deuce bigalow today... haha. it was rather crude in many many ways... and explicit too... but really, it was totally hilarious... :) haha... quite amusing... haha. this is not e kinda movie u'd wanna watch at home w yr family though... ;)

bought yanzi's album... haha... its a gd buy! cheap and got lotsa nice stuff inside... haha. the songs itself are nice... :) oh, but anw, its so cute cuz she dyed her hair red, and then there's this extra cd inside, and she calls herself rambutan! haha. then got cute pix of her doing lotsa things... and the whole theme is v laid back... i like it... :) which i could have 'a perfect day' too... it would be similar to what i see in there... simple, laid back... near the sea... gosh, i love e beach... :)

oh, i also bought this new face wash... haha. from Thefaceshop... its all in korean, so i dunno much abt it. but i like it a lot! makes my face feel so clean and nice, but not too dry! haha... :) its not cheap though... :/

oh, and secret recipe is having this offer... its damn cheap man! buy 1 $5 slice and get 1 free... their cakes are so yummy, and yet they're having this offer?! wow... i ate happily, not just cuz it was delicious, but cuz it was easy on my pocket too... :) lol... yes, i'm money conscious now... :P

met chunming at marina sq today! oh he's a platoon mate of mine in e past... and he's rather poorthing... leaving for aus in a few days, for more than a month! :( gosh... and the saddest part is, it was only 4 of them out of 20+ pple who have to go... so unlucky! arghh... feel so sorry 4 him...

hmmm, but overall, i really had a great day today... best day in quite a long long while... am so thankful... :)

so glad e weekend is here... i desperately need a break from sch... just some time to myself, an outlet away from reality... i think i'm not so happy nowadays somewhat. sure, i still laugh and joke and smile... but really, does tt say much? i think sometimes, only when u feel at ease with someone, tt is when u can let yr hair down in front of them..

i wonder... will e internet cease to exist one day? or maybe, blogger would close down one day. then what would happen to all these terrible writings i've put up here over e years? ok, i dunno why i said tt... ;)

yeah... have been talking to some pple overseas... e internet is great... its what makes it possible... :) i miss a lot of u guys, all over... and those stuck in army. e days when i could just pick up e phone, and all of ya are just a quick dial away... the days when we had time to sit ard and talk, catch a movie, have fun. i miss those times when things were easy. guess, i've got lotsa growing up to do...

but after tt lecture, it was ok i guess... e 2nd lecturer (miss i always forget my lecture times), turned up! and let us off early too... haha... so i went for lunch in orchard w kaizhi, weili and kaesian... lol. still find calling ian kaizhi damn funny... ;) anw, had pepper lunch for lunch... the food was gd and all... :) haha... think e price is a lil steep though... :(

anw, headed over to queensway to buy cheap stuff after tt! haha... the stuff there are seriously cheap... i bought a pair of jeans and got my length and the baginess altered in like 25mins for $30... i think tt's rather cheap... :) bought some t-shirts too since i realised i've way too many shirts... haha. and school weather isn't conducive for shirts... ;)

after tt, i attempted to apply for my PDL so i could start taking driving lessons. unfortunately... an unforseen mishap happened! :( i went to e wrong counter, and as a result, i was told, i had to go to e second level. then the person added in, i think it closes at 5... i looked at my watch... 5.10... well, i thot, hmmm, it should be fine rite? no! not rite... :( bah... wasted trip... looks like i've to return some other day... bah!! how annoying... i really wanna pass and drive for a while man... sounds fun! ;)

oh, i've gotten so lazy now... i've just been lying in bed and watching tv shows... :/ and now i've discovered e joy of lying in bed to type my blog... its so comfy... gosh. i'm gonna get muscle atrophy from lack of movement... :x

haha... k, i kinda said i would just update my blog periodically... so i've failed. i think i give up trying to catch up w what i missed out on... its just a hopeless thing! :P

firstly... desperate housewives rock! haha... and so does sex and e city... been downloading and watching them! i'm currently keeping up w US for DH, and i've got only 1 more season for SATC... yeah man... more laughter... ;)

lucky thing happened today... i volunteered to buy dessert for ian and weili... (rare happening)... then on my way back, i saw roystan! haha... and he called me over to e phone... and it was christine over e other end! :) haha... u!!! claim tt u knew i was gonna meet roystan huh... really now... ;) so far fetched lor! zhen ling wo chai yi!!! haha... anw, happy bday, and take care of yr hair... haha!

haha... k, so i've came to e conclusion tt our mass tutorials suck. if its too inconvenient, i dun think i'd be inclined to attend them anymore. after torturing myself for close to 4 hours, waiting for the tutorial with eager anticipation, in hopes of satiating my inquenchable thirst for knowledge (as well as e tutorial which i couldn't answer)... the moment came! haha... what a rude shock we all got. the tutorial had practically no structure, and for an hour, we just jumped from 'strength' to 'strength'... rite. well well... so an hour passed just like tt?! bah. so i was thinking, maybe e next tutorial would be better... and lo and behold... the tutorial was cancelled. it was e same stupid *@#&$*#$ who always forgets tt she has tutorials. funny how she somehow manages to remember it just b4 e tutorial huh? really... its totally mistifying...

anw... this is a picture i took with my anat grp! haha... the guy w white hair is, actually, was our tutor... he's really funny and good! i only wish he could tutor us once again... and he watches lotsa channel 55 shows like me! haha... no one else knew what da chang jin is... but i did! lol... :P anw, i know we took lotsa pix... but somehow, i managed to look at e wrong camera but for this shot... arghh.. so paiseh... :/ haha. i swear i heard e voice coming from behind another camera! ahh! they all sounded e same! :P look at us! who'd have thot we'd all someday become doctors! haha...

and i think i've become predisposed to sleeping really late... i tried to slp early last nite... but ended up chatting here, watching DH on my com... blah here and there... till it was v late again. then as usual, i'd end up so tired during lecture and sch... and yawn so much! well, according to my tutor, i was having inspiration, otherwise known as yawning. e first time he saw it, he said, its gd! stimulates e brain... then e subsequent times... he wasn't too amused... he kept firing qns at me... and said, i'm trying to keep u awake. haha, this is e first tutorial i have w him... what a way to start... ;)

well well... biochem has been an absolute nitemare for me... i've really never been gd at mugging processes or molecules... like for A's, kelvin's cycle, i missed out 2 steps for essay... so yeah, u can see i'm so bad at this. haiz... i dunno what i'm gonna do... wish i could mug for 3 nites without slping too... ;) like some pple i heard... but well, ain't gonna happen... maybe i'd end up in a coma..? -.-?

been playing lotsa tennis... i really love tt game... :) haha! think i've been too up and down... not too down, but definitely not as up as a while back... i must play more, cuz i dun wanna grow fat from lack of physical activites... esp since my dad just bought sooo much ice cream... :D

lastly, i'm pleased at how much restrain i've been exercising... :) i've not been spending much... today, i felt like buying a bag, jeans and belt... but i managed to stop myself cuz i was convinced i could buy them for a cheaper price elsewhere... so hope i find it cheaper somewhere else, or maybe, those things just lose their appeal... :)

i think i shall update my blog till what happened today. cuz often, i feel like saying somethings, and i dun, cuz i feel like i've yet to catch up... and often, those interesting thoughts (well, interesting to myself) get lost... haha.

anw, its been 2 weeks of sch already i think... lost track of time. and well, its been rather tiring, yes. everyone is mugging so hard, yet i can't do it. so i'm feeling e heat man... but yes, i gotta know e stuff, else my patients will be in danger. guess, i do have lotsa responsibility. i should be less frivilous... ah...

abt... food! went to crustaceans with ks, ian and weili one fine fri afternoon... and had the set lunch... it was yummy! e soup (thick and not watery like ian says...), came with bread with chopped and slightly grilled tomatoes! yummy! then, there was steak, thick and juicy... quite shocked i was e only one having medium-rare... is it *tt* disgusting?! then the dessert - coffee flavoured pina cotta! haha, the waitress, was super friendly, but she was trying to tell us what pina cotta was, so i found it rather amusing... ;) lol

then later the next week, i had lunch w claire and hs at e-brews! yummy... i love e food there, but not e service, nor e cleaniliness of e utensils... :x haha... but e food was good... e blacken dory was thick and succulent, and so tender! and the jasmine rice, ever so fragrant! :) haha... then there was e giagantic apple crumble?!! haha... so sweet and huge... was really satisfying... felt gd to have a meal w my pple i became so close to during my jc years... :) miss u all.. and esp u aaron! haha... its been so long since i saw u... online, in person?! haha, k, digressing... :P

then, on sat, i had dinner w my parents at last! :) ate at olio's... i'm so sad tt e branch at wheel lock's is gone... e menu is vastly different... and i think e variety, wider as well. but i settled for seared cod steak with sth... haha... its nice... and surprisingly v filling though it looked minute. well, it was chunky u see... its really like a steak... ;) haha.

so, this is just some of e nice food i had recently! i really love eating nice foods... :) haha... to bad they cost so much! :(

ok, other than food, i also love movies. unfortunately, i've hit a really bad patch or sth... watching one after another bad movie! :x since e horror tt was red shoes (no, it wasn't scary, just plain bad), i had corpse bride, dukes of hazzard, then everlasting regret. let me explain - tim burton's corpse bride was probably a very easy movie, but really, i felt nothing but boredom throughout e movie. it didn't have the appeal tt was finding nemo, or the refreshing creativity tt came with monsters inc for example. maybe it was e dull colors, or e substandard music? i expected more after the nitemare b4 xmas... haha. alrite... but it wasn't tt bad. then there was dukles of hazzard. haha... e only thing funny was jessica and her bimboness... ok, maybe e sound of the horn... ;) but really, i found e jokes not v funny... and i've been wanting to watch something really funny lately! i think tt sex and e city is so much funnier... and so is the longest yard... ha. well, well... am also waiting for a sappy romantic comedy to come out soon... nothing looks gd so far... :( oh, but everlasting regret was not bad i felt. but its not for everyone... it tells an interesting story... and more importantly, i feel tt it subtly put across how e change in china affected its lead character. how as different 'eras' evolved, her relationships changed. and also, it becomes unclear as to who e everlasting regret is intended towards. hmmm... really interesting movie. i would've read e bk this movie is based on, except its in chinese... oh well.

haha, i think i shall stop here for now, cuz i find i'm not really in e mood to say much... but i'll continue soon... nite pple... :)

its time for a new router. my current, unstable internet connection is annoying me to death. downloading stuff, and uploading stuff is such a chore.

and speaking of which... i just watched episode 1 of season 2 of desperate housewives!! it finally finished downloading... it was mighty good i must say... so pleased abt it... lol! :)

another thing... i've gotta get out there and exercise more.. i feel like i'm shrinking and getting less and less fit everyday. arghhh.. hate e feeling! :x

hey... long post in a while! :) been rather busy... feel like such a bad friend often. sighs... i dun have time to reply to emails tt often... and on e phone i dun really seem to pay lotsa attention sometimes.. so u know what's happening when i keep going 'huh?'... i dunno.. just so spaced out now adays... like i'm in another dimension or sth... lol!

anws... was chatting w 2 friends e other day, and we were talking abt relationships and stuff... and eventually, it drifted to fairytale endings. do you believe in them? well, tt gotta say, i dun. somehow, nothing fairy-ish has ever happened to me... i mean, not tt i'm dissatisfied w my life rite now or anything, but never has anything really special really happened to me to make change this perspective or mine. hmmmm, one believed in fairytale beginnings - which is probably e cliched honeymoon period... e other believed in fairytale endings. so i asked why... and he said, 'I believe cuz i will make it happen.' ... hmmm, will it? i hope so... cuz maybe then, i'd believe too... haha. maybe i dun, cuz i do not wanna hope. hope can bring e greatest disappointment sometimes... yet often, it is what keeps us going isn't it? esp in times of desperation... ...

other stuff last week - i forgot e which day and all la - what with all e stupid med stuff to cramp in my brain, which isn't working cuz it just seems to seep out anyhow. bah.

watched e brother's grimm... eh, not really good show... kinda long i felt, and a movie is never good when tt happens. well, i somehow, e setting reminded me a lil of The Village. guess e stroy wasn't v well developed, or interesting... haha, basically, dun watch it unless u've nothing to do?

had dinner at this nice place in marina square, vienthai. it has really quite good food, and e price is ok actually... :) a problem i had was with e seats. i got seated at this table which was seperated from e nice by a thin wooden grill. so it was had so much gaps, it was as if u were sitting next to e other table, so close u can see e other person easily and hear what they are saying! haha, it was so strange i had to get a table change... :P

i had this rather interesting noodle (soupy kind) with omelete... heh, its something interesting i've never quite seen b4... and i must say e soup was rather platable... w e taste of e fried omelete in it, and being a nice chicken stock itself... :) quite light... :)

for dessert, i had mango with coconut milk drenched, sticky glutinous rice... it was so yummy! haha... i love coconut, so i obviously am a sucker for this dessert. there were so many other nice deserts all coconut based too.. i've gotta go back soon for dessert tasting... haha!



also went wild wild wet on fri, which was an utter disappointment... :( haiz.. so few rides... plus i bummed my butt on one of the rides, bruising my iliac spine (aiya, one of them... haha). it was quite terrible cuz i couldn't really walk without squirming for a while.. luckily it got better. serious, it was lousy, really bad, except for a ride... which i bummed myself la (yeah, just had to happen rite?)... then watched The Red Shoes. tt totally sucked... like wth was tt?! nonsense movie... dun ever watch it. shall not elaborate for fear of wasting space on my blog. hah. and i did a silly booboo.. was supposed to order pork ribs for weili, ian and me at cafe cartel. 3 ribs walked by and we wondered, eh, isn't tt supposed to be for us?! apparently not.. as 3 pork chops came. oops, i misordered.. so dumb. speaking of which, sometime this week, i did e same thing... :( audrey told me to get fish and chips for her, and somehow i turned around moments later and said chicken cutlet. like huh?! i dunno what happened either... :/ -.-??!

another movie i watched, e 3rd of e week... :/ was Cinderella Man. i was really excellent i felt. impeccable acting by Renee and Russel crowe... and the movie was directed so well... i didn't feel tt it was draggish at all. the story is based on a true story, and all in all, i felt it was a really touching movie, the inspirational kind, sort of like e other crowe-howard collaberation in A Beautiful Mind. i'm a little disgusted tt singaporeans seem to prefer 'The Myth'... yet another jackie chan film, which i feel is getting rather old and tired, esp w e same kind of humor used every film, rahter than this film. hmmm...

anyhow, after tt, i met up w my bmt mates! woohoo... :) haha... its been a while guys. all still looking great!! ;) these guys were e guys tt made my bmt such a wonderful and memorable experience... haha. wonder how i could've beared w it it not for them... :) we went partyworld for ktv... below is e ever poser aloy posing for my cam... haha. and zh in the background crooning to some girl somewhere la... haha! ;)

then this was aloy and yinghao singing xuan zhe... damn amusing. the funnily affectionate faces they were making at each other... haha, best buddies man... i guess so la... ;)


hmmm, all in all, 9 of us turned up and it was great... can't find e photo of us together though! :( nevermmind... laters... haha. yeah, we just had such a blast, laughin our heads off when we tried cajoling krishin to sing hindi songs, but yinghao ended up singing them instead!?! then, of course aloysious... haha. straining to reach e high notes, then giving up at the most inopportune (hence obvious) moments and singing in his low voice, then giving his cheeky face. ahahaa!! and drama zhui singing! haha, but yeah la, u and roger sing really well... :) made me too paiseh to sing anything... lol!

just in such a horrid mood now.

i feel like my hols aren't like a holiday at all.. i've just been rushing from place to place e whole day.. all so often. i'm not getting enough slp, and i'm just exhausted...

and because of this, i get irritated when u've stupid bus drivers tt drive slowly on purpose.. ack! or i just end up cabbing.. :( n my bank account is gonna be 2 digit soon at this rate... haha :x

...and i've not even been able to have a meal w my family in ages.. i feel so guilty... arghhh.

k, stop it. must be happy now.

oh... finally.. a day where i dun go out of my condo... its been such a long long time.. a well deserved rest man! great to recharge my batteries.. feeling so refreshed... :) haha, so... i'm gonna have so much to catch up on this blog... oops... ;)

10th sept (many saturdays ago...) - yet another farewell party for ra... its like a long affair man! haha... it was some kinda party at his place... quite fun! :) the food was nice... and so many types of cakes! woot! :q then, we played video games all nite, took many silly photos (which wun appear here of course), and then we also just talked rubbish the whole nite... which contributed to my sleep deprivation once again... :/ aha...

alrite... i realised i'm really too lazy to recap all the lost events.. so whatever, i'll just put whatever i want here.. ;)

so mid way thru last week... my phone (Nokia 6680) spoilt.. it became shitty, not letting me see when i got new msges, and not beeping as well... me, being so dependant on my phone.. and get quite a few msges usually as well.. got highly irritated! it was like i would just forget abt it, and when i open my inbox, i just have so many smses to reply to... and thanks to the time lapse, sometimes, msges can become not pertinant anymore... :( and my irritation grew increasingly because the phone was taking hours to boot up, and there were times i couldn't open my msges cuz 'app memory full'... like wth?! so, the search was on! haha... it didn't take me v long, and i settled on the W800... it sure feels really good to have a small and light phone after tt horrendously bulky nightmare! haha.. and yes, things load up v fast here... the flash on the camera is even better than e usual.. and... hmmm, what else... e music function is seamlessly integrated... and i dunno, it seems like e sound quality tt comes out of it is even better than ipod?! quite impressed.. and the battery life is v impressive... i'm trying hard at e moment to drain it flat so i can charge it.. :/ haha... sounds rather dumb... ;) the msging system is however, nowhere as userfriendly as nokia's... u've to press more buttons to achieve the same effect as on a nokia phone.. and the joystick, or whatever u wish to call tt little stick on e phone, is too delicate! its quite hard to push it in e right direction... so if i send u msg tt doesn't seem complete.. i pushed it e wrong way. haha...

so... with this, i dun need an ipod nano anymore... :) haha!

ok... now, back to last week... on wed, i had my haircut at cinileisure supercuts... it was a rather horrific experience. i had water splashed into my back, causing my shirt to be wet... twice! once b4 e haircut... and e hairdresser realised, then she proceeded to using the hair dryer to dry my shirt, and heat me up as well.. :/ and i'd have thot tt she would have realised tt n be more careful e second time round.. but no, i left e place with a wet shirt.. sighs. and she cut my hair so short! i dun want spiky hair anymore... been trying to grow it out.. sighs.. i think i should be more explicit next time. bah... and all she knows how to say is... u look like this jap.. are u jap? pls.. i was speaking chinese to u... -.-'

then on thurs... FA was finally over.. and we had a reason to go out... yay... played lan - v disappointing. the computers was so laggy.. bah. but, dinner was good... at carl's junior! yummy!! haha... its so huge, so meaty and so cheesy... i just love it! :) but it was damn hard to digest la.. i was dying during tennis after tt.. could feel my stomach bouncing up and down... felt like a serena running after e ball... :x

on 18th sept.. the day ra left... quite a sad day... its gonna be so sad! will miss all his crazy antics... all the tv/movie characters/real pple impersonitions! haha... and his bubbly and uninhibited personality which always makes outings so fun and ktv sessions so spontaneous... ;) all e best over in ireland! we'll be colleagues when u return for work... :P

so this holiday has been extremely fun... :) i've been going out, exhausting myself... as well as my poor bank account... :( haha... monday was meeting w my jc classmates.. a few of them... went to united square for lunch! then, ben's n jerry's for dessert... it was really good! gotta try flavours not int sold in tubs.. and a discount too cuz wanz knows e owner... and i think i do know e manager.. played tennis w him b4! haha... and i spotted a $80 sundae?! and yes, ian wants to try it.. so whoever is feeling rich, u know who to go to... lol! ;) at nite, had a nice walk along e beach... and supper... i love e sea... haha.. i'm so used to living v near e sea... looks like, when i get a house next time, i've gotta do tt once again...

tuesday! went to e beach - again. but this one was at sentosa! :) haha.. the weather was great.. the hot sun, the cool water... killer combo! after exhausting frisby (cuz running on sand is just so tiring), then we had beach volleyball (we were such a hazard, constantly bombarding unsuspecting tourists w e ball... lol)... and of course - my fav, soaking in the sea, letting the waves roll across yr body (and in the process, letting sand collect in yr pants, hair, whatever...) the stupidest part of my body got burnt - my feet. this small circular patch - rather unexplicably too.. i was wearing slippers! in fact, i was barefooted mostly. so... hmmm... i dunno... :(

at nite, was looking at laptops w a friend.. and damn, i feel cheated. this fujitsu notebook doesn't have e features or specs to boot its 2.6k ass.. :/ haha.. damn, i could've got something nicer looking for tt price... not to say e sch is cheating us.. it isn't, just tt perhaps, fujitsu is overpriced.. cuz i think if i had to buy this one outside.. its easily 3k+... weird.

k, so i kinda got a week half to write abt, but since i've been trying hard to pay attention during class, cramping all e anatomy and horrid bio molecules in my brain, so... i've tend to forget a lot things tt have happened.. ;)

anw, last sat.. tried to recover from my lack of slp during e day.. then had a fun tennis session! in wish i played really well my first 2 matches, hitting good serves and many winners! :) then, in my 3rd, i had the longest rally in my life against changmou. i'm sure it was abt 4min at least (?.. what do ya reckon cm?), and both of us just refused to lose it.. lol.. but finally, cm dumped a forehand into the net, and i won the point.. i was happy, but so drained as well.. lol. after tt, went for a US Open viewing session at ra's place.. but ra was really so funny tt day. it was the last nite of the lunar 7th month.. so he was afraid of ghosts and stuff and made me go to the car and w him, refusing to go alone.. then i began to wonder whether e demonic/possessed shot i took of him e previous nite had any significance.. ;)

sunday was sleep in day.. did go out for a while.. but really, didn't do much..

monday... sucky lecturer who kept insisting we keep quiet! grr.. he wasn't interesting or useful.. so duh we'd be noisy.. :P rushed home to watch my taped US Open after tt! haha.. oh, i had woken up at 4am to watch venus play serena earlier in the day! was not a very good match, but hey.. when my 2 favs play, i gotta watch rite? ;) and b4 tt, i slept at 2.30 watching another match.. so effectively, i was zombified on mon.. and tt, unfortunately, carried over e whole week! :(

wed, i really wanted to pon e histo pract! in wish i can see nothing, unless i use my, not so accurate imagination.. bah! i actually wanted to pon tut and pract to watch kim vs venus.. the highlight of the whole US Open (for the women's)! it was such an exciting tussle, as i was getting live updates during the tut.. v highly distracting i might add! :P and at 6-4, i thot venus had the match in hand, so i happily went for histo pract. and.. by the time i left pract, it was 6-4, 5-7, 1-1! tt was after venus had a 4-2 lead in the second! stupid girl.. grr.. so i rushed over to hs's place to watch the final set.. which venus sadly, lost so quickly. dumb girl! i watched the replay of the match, and she was just missing on all e important points. she had so many opportunities.. gosh... :/

haha, being so tired from the lack of sleep, i declared thurs a hol and didn't go to sch since it was my fav prof lecturing.. yes, mr shuuush! haha.. got treated to andre vs blake! such an absorbing match.. but my tv had to stop broadcasting for a while in the 5th set..!! i was like - argghh, why now?! its like realising u've ran out of toilet paper after u just let loose.. ;) (no, tt didn't happen to me.. lol) oh, and linday vs elena was really cool too, albeit nervy and sloopy.. and stupid lindsay, wasted so many chances as well! arggh!

went to meet up w ian, poo, weili, ks and lynette for a movie after tt.. watched the longest yard.. quite hilarious! in fact - very! haha.. something else was equally hilarious though, but i shouldn't comment more.. ;)

then, fri.. stayed home and mugged a while.. but went out in the evening.. for meange a trios! met up w hs, dolly (e sheep!), ian and weili for dinner at fish and co first.. there, i met kenny, colin, mok, jonny and gan! haha.. so many pple.. but anyhows, ate new york fish and chips.. so new thingie, which had v nice cheese in it! yum! :) and also, had a huge freezer thing.. only 6.50, but so huge.. was quite satisfying.. :) and of course, i saw the lovely ipod nano which i had just read abt earlier in e day. damn, it was beautiful.. so thin, so small, so elegant. i fell in love w it immediately.. but boy was it ex.. haiz.. the lovely color screen, and just the beauty of it.. and it has effectively rendered the ipodmini obsolete.. 4gb, and so much smaller with a color screen.. sorry for those who had just bought it! :/ yup, anw, we were late for the tri fac bash.. thanks in part to e fact they forgot abt my dinner at fish and co.. and a totally unhelpful and rude(!!) door bitch.. yes, dolly reckons she's a bitch, which fits her job title so well.. ;) lol.. 'step back!! show yr ID.", then to hs we only had her ez-link, "U! last warning! bring yr ID next time"..

inside, we gotta see med fac's winning dance.. really good! hs thot e guys were amazing, which they were. all m2s though.. but a terrific effort nonetheless! then the music started, and it was time to dance.. haha. initially, e music was fab. but weili, ian and me were not in a.. well, dancy mood.. ;) haha! so there.. we wasted the nice music.. then, of course, it got progressively worse.. and when we did feel like dancing.. it was kinda too late! argghhh.. so it was kinda a really sad experience.. in e end, we left quite early, no thanks to e sucky music.. headed down to newton to have supper. there, this woman decided to help us get seats, and i was like, ok.. and weili went, uh.. u know u've to buy sth from her rite? so i just walked quickly, and went she started whistling to get my attn, i just pretended not to hear her and walked on.. lol! but sadly.. hs and dolly eventually went to sit there and tt same woman served us! lol.. so dumb.. :/

hehe... at my friend's house now.. its his farewell party and i'm blogging.. die liao, i've not been studying... sighs, and i got test next week! ack!

anw, abt sunday.. after tt intense outing on last last sat, i managed to wake up to go to the airport with only an hour of sleep.. :) haha, it was a kinda sad thing.. i was gonna send off yihan, one of my best friends tt i've got to know... u've always been such a great friend, there to listen to my problems and help me out when i needed some one to listen to me without judging me in anyway... thanks! :) and of course, u've been a great going out w person too... always a ball of fun to hang out w, and one of the few pple who can stay out so late w me... ;) thank u so much... and i'll miss u lots... :'/


after the send off, nick and i went first to my place, with cm... where we slacked a while. there, i showed them an episode of desperate housewive.. and cm got so hooked! lol.. he had always thought it was a show tt epitomises him - sluttish, bitchy and whorish.. thus refused to watch it cuz he was afraid it would embarrass himself. but after watching an episode and realising it was all so captivating, he decided to ask me to burn it for him - something i've yet to do. lol.. :/

but after tt, went to meet weili and zp for lunch... just caught up and had fun... and after lunch, all of us suffered from after lunch weariness... and to shake tt off, they -me not included- decided to go pay a visit to the exhibition at the taka atrium. they came, they sat on a foot massager, then a full body massager and goodness knows what else, oohing and ahhing as they went along. it was so hilarious! ;) haha.. pity i was too thin skinned to try, and oh, i was busy trying to find a nice shade of dye for my hair - more on my hair escapades later.. ;)

mon - i had dyed my hair a shade of blue-black... and when i went to sch.. everyone just got so shocked by the drastic change. and shakes of disapprovals from everyone.. i was like... bah. i can't do anything abt it! grr.. then this guy - tze yeong (??). k, blue cap guy, asked me why i did tt. i was just like - huh? i've not talked to u b4.. then he said my hair was so prominent.. and i thought... lynette.. blond.. b*mb*.. :x suddenly, all the regret of removing my hair color was gone... :)

tues - well, memory's a bit iffy now.. its so long ago.. :/ but yeah, timetable started later so i was happy? lol. k.. whatever.

wed - stupid prac which i didn't see anything i was supposed to see. i bet anyone who saw anything imagined it up... :) and i had tut.. and i actually could ans e questions. wow... :P see, i was so happy abt it i can still remember.. ;) lol..

thurs - stupid pbl. wasted my day by going to sch.. bah! for an hour of measily 'discussion'. lol.. then went ian's place to watch the nightmare b4 xmas w emily, hon and kae sian.. was quite a nice movie.. however, the couch was oh so inviting, and i just fell alsp for moments.. lol.. ;)

fri - pract! smelly cadavers again.. :/ had the most unpleasant experience of travelling to town smelling like a cadaver. thankfully my cab driver seemed pretty nice abt it.. haha! :) but as for myself.. while i was eating the wanton noodles, i suddenly gagged. it was a reflex induced by the foul odor coming out from my mouth.. :x the odor of a cadaver... ecks. i was sososo grossed out... :(

well, after letting my stomach settle, i went to settlers w ra, al and colin.. (pun not intended). after kat and gary arrived, we began the games! :) we had I'm the Boss, which of course, i won... ;) and gary was just being pissy, telling everyone not to work w me, saying, he sure win one. stop it, he always wins... lol, whatever. then, halli bali, where aunty shishi won easily.. as always.. :x and then, we also played cranium, which me and colin won too! haha.. :P got lotsa laughs from all the silly squiggles and and acting everyone was frantically trying to do! :P lol.. always have so much fun when i go settlers, with anyone! :) yay..

after the crazy games at settlers.. we went clubbing.. after much persuasion tt is.. in the end, shishi didn't go either.. bah.. but colin and bum sure can move their bods! ;) haha.. think i got so much to learn.. lol.. kat and ra were so cute.. just hovering round.. till suddenly, its like tt blasted.. and they finally got their groove going.. ;) haha! i tried to drink.. but as usual, my alcohol intolerant self felt bad after just half a glass of vodka ribeana. bah.. hate it. :( but clubbing was really quite fun.. it like a place where u can just let loose.. and look at pple freely.. and of course, get looked at too.. ;) haha... oops, shouuld stop b4 i sound too whorish. :x but yeah.. its really so fun..

finally, i did something stupid... :/ ra tried to help me color my hair purple.. cuz i was annoyed pple couldn't see the supposedly blueness of my hair. so he helped me out by trying to dye it purple.. sadly, all i've got now is hair falling out.. lol! :( well, its not tt drastic.. but looks like i'm stuck with black hair for a while now.. garr... :P

alrite... so the big nite is over... and i've finally found some time to talk abt it... :) btw, the photo link's on the left... yup.

thurs - hectic day in sch, w rehearsals after sch, had dinner at 10.30pm... nothing much happened... except tt i played tennis w ian, aud and ks... haha, it was quite fun, esp to see them get better... wish i could still be improving... :/ haha. then ian had his nose turn so red! it was darn hilarious... :x and then he refused to turn up for vcf cuz he had a red nose... double :x :x and another booboo... what does wei3 qu1 mean? hmmm... ponders hard. ian thinks it means inconvience... nono, noble. lol...!! ok, shall zip it, lest i get pinched again. :P

fri - rehearsals again. so damned tiring. was at PS for dessert after rehearsals... someone held my hand, and i got spotted immediately. wow... i couldn't believe how i could've been spotted immediately. it was like... walk walk walk, then suddenly, these 2 guys gave me a look. then i'm like... strange, what's this abt. next thing i know... i got a msg asking me who was holding my hand. ha... and i didn't even know who those 2 pple were... oh wells. and ok, i held tt person's hand cuz her leg was injured...

anw, saw the cadavers for the first time!! :D haha... boy are they... stinky. nothing like the pork sausages or pork tt everyone tells me its like. its more like this overwhelming aftertaste u get if u try to eat too many meatballs! :/ its absolutely gross... hated it. ack. my prof got overenthusiastic tugging at the tendons of the muscles and this bit of flesh flew at cheryl. poor girl.. :/ and seriously, its just strange tt u deskin the whole body... and leave the nipple and belly button there. it just looks gross! and the cadaver's nose was squashed flatish... haha. ok, i should stop. oh but, i've got to say this... someone turned a cadaver over, and shit fell out. i'm really speechless abt this. all i can do is.. laugh... lol! i dun want to be a cadaver when i die! so anyone, someone... pls claim my body if i die k? i'll be eternally grateful... really!

sat... crazy day! :/ must thank someone for the flowers and balloons... so sweet... was really touched... thanks so much... :)

there were problems w the day though. the event was supposed to be an outdoor thing... and we had already rehearsed upteen times on the huge stage outdoors on the day b4 and the day itself... but suddenlly, when we had returned from our hair and makeup... the stage was gone. to our horror, this tiny stage indoors had replaced it. haha. wow.

anw, these are the girls w the curlers in their hair, looking all taitai-ish... or auntish if u will... ;) and they had their lunch, and shopped at parkway, and isetan w those things in their hair. lol... :/ and yes, pple were most certainly staring... really hard.

while the girls took hours upon hours for their makeup, we just lounged in our changing room... beautiful isn't it? ;) haha. and then, there was this soft couch was just divine. the 6 of us just slept there... haha.

wth! derek put his stinky feet where i slept... i just realised after seeing this photo... grr... ;) after some really last min rehearsals - note - u guys were kept in the reception area for soo long simply because we were doing some really really last min hairstyling and then rehearsals... it was so rushed. but i think it went quite well, such tt u can't tell it was *tt* last min... ;)

then we hit the stage. i didn't realise tt i was really tt pissed off looking when i was on stage. every single photo i looked annoyed and upset. it was just shocking... :x i really couldn't believe it. guanyinma told me, "smile la, u look like shit" i thot he was joking... looks like it was true afterall... i was really looking like shit... :x below is an example... :/

but in the end, i really did have so much fun... the whole thing was a brand new experience in itself... :) never in my life who i've thought i'd be going on stage and do this b4. and i think i did it rather well... i was nervous sounding on stage or anything... a lil stiff, but on the whole, acceptable... ;) so even though, i didn't walk away with any accolades, i'm glad to have done this still. and from all the comments my friends made, and even my fellow contestants, i know tt i could've got something... so, i guess tt's great consolation... ;) and thanks u guys... all of u, u've been wonderful... i'm glad to have got to know all of u... hope we can somehow, stay in touch. :)

and of course, i've really gotta thank my supporters... they're really so sweet... they got so many pple to sms vote for me...! haha... i'm really touched... thank u. and in fact, thank u just for coming down... i know it was disappointing, but just having u guys come down... i'm already so grateful... and of course... the amusing stories abt auntie shishi sweeting off all the goodie bags and whatever stuff on the table, then stuffing it into kat's bag... tt was just hilarious! really lor... shishi should just be the da ma! ;) and then, there's red light and the guanyinma! spooky...

after the nite had ended... we went for a 2-6 ktv session. hmmm... it really helped to lift my spirits man... :) haha. kat's ode to the family totally outdid everyone... and we were just laughing so hard, we were tearing. oh man... i should've taped it down. and i've footage of ra in... being beyonce! - crazy in love. complete with the boob and ass pumping... forwards, backwards, forwards, backwards! lol... great blackmail material. *evil grin*

tt nite, i slept an hour... and had to rush to the airport on sunday morning. arghhh, i'm feeling rather uninspired. so i'm writing crap. shall continue another day.
